Operation & Maintenance

Support Sustained Operational Excellence.

MCE brings decades of direct, hands-on experience commissioning, reviewing, and assessing data centres from the enterprise edge to 500+ MW hyperscale campuses. Every engagement is focused on a single outcome — verifying that the facility delivers the redundancy, availability, and maintainability specified by the owner, under both normal operation and fault conditions.

MCE provides independent engineering oversight across the full project lifecycle — from basis of design and design review through construction verification, commissioning, and reliability assessment. Our engagement across phases ensures that redundancy intent and availability targets are carried through consistently from concept to handover, with no gaps between phases.

A facility can be well-engineered and fully compliant yet still harbour redundancy gaps that only become visible under stress. MCE’s reviews and assessments identify those gaps — single points of failure, redundancy paths that exist on paper but collapse under fault conditions, and maintainability constraints that force the facility to operate in a degraded or unsafe condition during planned maintenance in order to keep the critical load running. Reliability is verified across both fault scenarios and maintenance conditions, not just normal operation.

MCE applies a proprietary review and assessment methodology purpose-built for availability verification — not general engineering peer review. Our framework is designed to stress-test redundancy topology, system independence, and maintainability under both fault and planned maintenance conditions in ways that standard design and construction oversight are not structured to do. The result is a level of assurance that generic engineering peer review cannot deliver.

AI workloads introduce power density and cooling demands that fundamentally change the redundancy and availability calculus of a data centre. MCE’s AI Readiness Assessment evaluates whether your facility’s power, cooling, and control infrastructure can support high-density AI deployments without compromising the redundancy architecture and availability targets to which the facility was built.

An independent engineering review creates a defensible record of due diligence that internal teams and contractors are not in a position to provide. MCE’s findings are documented in structured technical reports establishing a clear professional basis for design acceptance, construction sign-off, and operational handover — giving owners, developers, and institutional investors documented assurance of redundancy and availability compliance.
